Counseling Services

The Counseling Department at Howard Junior High School exists to provide support and guidance for students at Howard as a part of the WISD Counseling Department.  Consistent with the WISD Counseling Department's goals, our team at Howard develops, implements, and executes activities that are designed to meet four objectives: 

• Presenting guidance curriculum to promote healthy life skills in students and their families
• Promoting individual planning by students with regard to each student's college/career readiness
• Providing students and families with support through responsive services for positive personal development, and
• Establishing and cultivating system support for our campus by maintaining partnerships and collaborative efforts that will benefit our students, their families, and our staff at Howard Junior High School.
